Assistive Technology

Assistive Technology Support is provided by the Cascade Regional Program including: OT/PT, Autism, DHH, Vision, and Augmentative Communication. A collaborative team evaluation using the SETT Process is used to determine a student’s Assistive Technology needs. Each Service Provider is knowledgeable about the Assistive Technology Process. As a parent or teacher, your first step is to talk with your current service provider about your student’s AT concerns and needs.

This website is intended to guide the process of determining if a student receiving special education services needs assistive technology (AT) and, if they do, what intervention (s) may be appropriate to enable them to make progress toward their educational goals.
