Vocational Rehabilitation Policy Forums

Vocational Rehabilitation [VR] is hosting a series of policy forums around the state in September and wants to hear from you! There will be two forums in each of the five locations.

People with disabilities, their families, service providers, employers, students with disabilities, teachers, advocacy organizations, Workforce partners and other organizations serving people with disabilities are all encouraged to attend.

The forums are free, but people are encouraged to register:

Participants will:

  • Learn about VR policy and procedures
  • Participate in discussions about VR
  • Contribute to VR future directions

VR Policy Forum dates and locations:

Salem – Tuesday, September 13, 2016

  • 9 a.m. to noon or 3 to 6 p.m.
  • Chemeketa Community College, Winema Building, Room 210, 4000 Lancaster Dr., NE. It is #48 on the campus map.

Medford – Thursday, September 15, 2016

  • 9 a.m. to noon or 3 to 6 p.m.
  • Inn at the Common, 200 N. Riverside Ave.

Portland – Monday, September 19, 2016

  • 9 a.m. to noon or 3 to 6 p.m.
  • Multnomah Educational Service District; Auditorium near the reception desk, 11611 NE Ainsworth Circle, Auditorium

Bend – Friday, September 23, 2016

  • 9 a.m. to noon or 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Division, Suite A-115, 1230 N.E. Third St.

Pendleton – Tuesday, September 27, 2016

  • 9 a.m. to noon or 3 to 6 p.m.
  • Vert Auditorium, Vert Club Room, 480 SW Dorion Ave.

Accommodations, including interpreters, assistive listening devices, and materials in alternative format are available upon request. We request two weeks notice to insure accommodations can be provided. Every effort will be made to provide accommodations with 48 hours of notice.
