Cybersecurity Summit and Tabletop Exercise

Strengthening community readiness.

LBL Cybersecurity and the State of Oregon Enterprise Information Services Cyber Security Services (EIS CSS) team are partnering to bring Cybersecurity Summits and Tabletop Exercises to communities across Oregon.

These events are designed to help K–12 schools, Special Districts, local governments, and public organizations strengthen cybersecurity awareness, preparedness, and response capabilities through collaborative learning experiences.

From interactive tabletop exercises to awareness and preparedness summits, each event provides practical training, real-world cyber incident discussions, and valuable resources that organizations can use to improve readiness, coordination, and resilience against today’s evolving cyber threats.

Cybersecurity Summit Events

Wednesday, Sept. 30

Cybersecurity Awareness & Preparedness Summit
10 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Lunch Provided)

This focused Cybersecurity Awareness & Preparedness Summit is designed to bring essential cybersecurity resources and practical guidance directly to communities across Oregon. Sessions focus on current threat trends, common risks facing public organizations, incident response planning, and actionable steps leaders can take to improve organizational readiness. The format is informative, collaborative, and time-efficient, making it well-suited for busy leaders and staff who want to better understand today’s cyber risks, available support resources, and practical next steps for strengthening preparedness.

Cybersecurity Summit & Tabletop Exercise

This full-day Cybersecurity Summit brings together leadership, IT, finance, communications, and operations teams for a deeper, hands-on experience. Each summit includes a facilitated Cybersecurity Tabletop Exercise that walks participants through a realistic, fast-moving cyber incident. Attendees work collaboratively to practice decision-making, coordination, and response strategies while gaining practical insights they can apply immediately within their organization. These sessions are ideal for teams looking to strengthen preparedness, leadership alignment, and cross-department coordination.
