SUMMARY:2026-27 Mentor Mentee Connect
DESCRIPTION:Who: Novice educators are invited\, along with their mentor or 
 instructional coach. Although encouraged to attend as a mentoring pair\, m
 entees are still welcome if not assigned to a mentor or if a mentor is not
  able to join in this offering.\nMentors are asked to only register if the
 ir mentee will be joining. Mentors are also invited to join our yearlong c
 ommunity of practice designed for those supporting novice educators. Pleas
 e click here to learn more about the New Teacher Mentor Academy and to reg
 ister for the 2026-27 school year.\nWhat: This virtual community of practi
 ce will provide:\n\n 	Time for connection and learning between mentor and 
 mentee pairs as well as with others in a similar role\n 	Opportunities to 
 gain support for problems of practice\n 	Engage in learning about timely t
 opics\n 	Time to delve into our required texts\, Mentoring in Action and i
 ts companion\, First Years Matter for the mentees\n 	Time dedicated to exp
 loring The Classroom Management book as a resource\n\nWhen: All sessions w
 ill be held on Zoom from 4:30-6:00 pm. Outside reading will not be require
 d.\n\n\n 	October 20\n 	November 17\n 	January 12\n 	February 9\n 	March 9
 \n 	May 11\n\nHow: Stipends will be provided through the WREN for attendan
 ce and for completing an artifact of learning. More details about stipend 
 requirements will be shared before the first session.\nParticipants will n
 eed to acquire the required texts for this offering\, but the provided sti
