DESCRIPTION:Who: Mentors\, Coaches\, TOSAs\, Administrators\, and others s
 upporting novice educators are invited to join this community of practice.
  Both new and veteran mentors are welcome\, even if you have participated 
 in previous years.\nPlease note: This offering is not designed for novice 
 educators. Click here to learn more about Mentor Mentee Connect and regi
 ster for the 2026-27 school year.\nWhat: This virtual community of practic
 e will continue to provide:\n\n 	Time for connection and learning with oth
 ers in a similar role\n 	Opportunities to gain support for problems of pra
 ctice\n 	Time to delve into our required texts\, Mentoring in Action\, and
  new this year\, The First Year Teacher's Survival Guide\n 	Time to plan a
 nd prepare for upcoming mentoring conversations\n\nWhen: All sessions will
  be held on Zoom from 4:30-6:00 pm. Outside reading will not be required.\
 n\n\n 	September 22\n 	October 27\n 	December 8\n 	January 26\n 	February 
 23\n 	April 13\n\nHow: Stipends will be provided through the WREN for atte
 ndance and for completing an artifact of learning. More details about stip
 end requirements will be shared before the first session.\nParticipants wi
 ll need to acquire the required texts for this offering\, but the provided
  stipend will cover the cost.  \nRequired Books:\n\nMentoring in Action 
 by Carol Pelletier Radford\n\n\n\nThe First-Year Teacher's Survival Guide 
 (5th Edition) by Michelle Cummings and Julia G. Thompson
