DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\n\nFee: $50\n\nThis workshop is for school-based 
 Interpreters/Translators to get more training on notetaking strategies\, s
 ymbols\, memory exercises\, and symbol dication. The guest speaker is Caro
 la Lehmacher\, a 2023-2024 MCI candidate\, a federally certified court int
 erpreter (FCCI) for Spanish\, and a registered court interpreter for Germa
 n for the State of Georgia. She works as a conference interpreter for vari
 ous local and international clients in all her language combinations. She 
 is one of the voices of a major news network\, and she interprets live sho
 ws broadcasted through this news channel to Spanish-speaking viewers. Caro
 la holds two university degrees in Translation Studies and various certifi
 cates in Interpreting. She is also a licensed trainer of The Community Int
 erpreter®️ International and volunteers with the American Association o
 f Interpreters and Translators in Education (AAITE) as Chair of the Ethics
  and Standards Committee.\n\n
