This session is a fast paced jump start to working with the LBL WebSIS software.  We will focus on key elements needed to start the school year and screens that are used on a regular (daily or weekly) basis; enrollment, contacts, enrollment totals, thresholds, and reports.  We will use the Start of Year checklist as our guide.

RECOMMENDED:  We will not be able to go through the Start of Year checklist in-depth during this session.  Please signup for a SIS Start of Year checklist lab if you feel you need more help completing the checklist tasks.  Suggestions for further training will be discussed as they pertain to each individual’s specific job duties.

Audience:  Any NEW registrar, office manager or secretary.  This session is designed for staff who have never used LBL Software.   Staff who have changed positions from a limited access position (example: behavior specialist, attendance secretary) to a full-access front office position are welcome to attend.

Duration:  3 hours

Prerequisites:  WebSIS security access User ID and Password and work email address.  Contact your district or school security officer for access rights information before training.

What to Bring:  Your WebSIS login credentials, email address, school calendar, new student registration forms, student address changes, elementary teacher/advisor assignments.
