For our April Curriculum Leaders meeting, the group, hosted by Strategic Partnerships for Student Success, was able to be together in-person for the first time in nearly 4 years. For the topic of our meeting, we clarified the difference between Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Transformative Social Emotional Learning (TSEL), and the highlight of the day was a Valentine’s-themed lesson on the physics of Cupid’s arrows.

The purpose of the exhibition lesson was to help our group see what embedded SEL looks like, and that the process can be fun and exciting.
